Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) or Licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Mental Health Clinicians registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Clinicians will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy across diverse client populations. This position offers flexibility and is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups within scope of practice.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and create treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically compliant documentation in accordance with BBS and practice standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision (associates) and collaborate regularly with the Clinical Director.
• Communicate effectively with administrative staff regarding scheduling, billing, and client care needs.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as needed.
• Attend required team meetings, trainings, and consultations.
• Implement evidence-based practices and culturally sensitive care approaches.
• Uphold HIPAA, BBS regulations, and all ethical guidelines.
QualificationsRequired
• Active California BBS registration as AMFT, ASW, APCC, or licensure as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work independently while following supervision and practice protocols.
• Professional liability insurance (required before seeing clients).
Preferred
• Availability for evenings and/or weekends (highly desired).
• Bilingual Spanish/English (strong plus).
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Training or practice in CBT, DBT, EMDR, play therapy, or trauma treatment.
• Experience in school-based or community mental health settings.
