Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of individuals with autism and developmental disorders.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges associated with autism and developmental disorders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, psychologists, and special education professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of autism and developmental disorders to continually improve treatment approaches.
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.
Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to effectively manage symptoms and promote overall well-being.
Utilize a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach when working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment plans, progress, and any necessary adjustments.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Continuously advocate for the needs and rights of individuals with autism and developmental disorders.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Represent the organization and promote awareness of autism and developmental disorders in the community.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest level of ethical standards in all interactions with patients and their families.
