Job Description

ndividuals to work one-on-one with young children to help them achieve their goals.

Pay Rate: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. As a Behavior Therapist, you will start at a probationary rate of $16.00 to $17.00 until you obtain your RBT credential within the first 60 days. Project Brilliance provides comprehensive training, guidelines, and support to help you succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one therapy to clients, as well as lead or assist in peer play and social group activities.
• Assist children in acquiring new skills and working towards individualized goals to improve communication, social interaction, problem-solving, and adaptive living skills.
• Implement effective teaching and behavior change techniques, including data collection and Mand training procedures.
• Collaborate with BCBA professionals and provide feedback on each child's progress.
• Teach children appropriate social behaviors and ensure their safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist with personal care needs, including diaper changes and potty training as required.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours per week. Center-based and home therapy options are available.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience in ABA therapy is a plus but not required, as we offer comprehensive training.
• Ability to engage creatively with young children (ages 2-6) in various settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teaching children appropriate social behaviors.
