Job Description

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• RBT certification is required to be considered for this role.* $150 Onboarding Bonus !

Location:

Napa, American Canyon

Job Type: PART-TIME

Schedule:

Monday to Sunday, 2-8pm. Must have afternoon and evening availability.

Work Setting:
In-home or In-clinic

We're hiring entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to grow their careers.

What You'll Do

As an RBT at BTS, you'll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child's home, clinic, or school, lasting 2-3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you're comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.

Your responsibilities include:
• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

Qualifications
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with children with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
• Preferred:
Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
