Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
Qualifications:
• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CA licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
