Responsibilities
• Provide individual and/or group equine assisted psychotherapy sessions
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff and equine specialists when appropriate
• Ensure client safety and follow best practices in equine-assisted therapy settings
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with Iowa licensing requirements

Qualifications
• Active Iowa license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC or equivalent)
• Experience providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations
• Training or experience in equine assisted psychotherapy preferred (not required)
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
