Job Description

About Oak Soul ABA:

Oak Soul ABA Therapy is a BCBA-owned and led practice dedicated to providing high-quality, ethical, and compassionate ABA services for children and families. Because we are clinician-owned, our leadership understands the realities of direct care — we prioritize clinical integrity, staff support, and outcomes over volume.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about supporting children with autism and developmental differences in reaching their fullest potential. You’ll work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized treatment programs in-home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior-analytic treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition programs.
• Provide compassionate, ethical, and culturally sensitive care to each family.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with caregivers and the clinical team.
• Maintain documentation and session notes in compliance with Medi-Cal and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active RBT certification that is NOT expired
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes (mileage reimbursed).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass background clearance (Live Scan / DOJ / FBI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Experience providing ABA, behavioral therapy, or childcare for children with special needs for at least 3 years.

Preferred:
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (Spanish, Tagalog, Mandarin, Vietnamese, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: $25-$28/hour (based on experience and certification level)
• Paid training and supervision hours
• Flexible scheduling
• Ongoing BCBA mentorship and professional development
• Growth opportunities for lead and mid-level positions
• Supportive, mission-driven culture

Schedule & Hours
• Flexible part-time or full-time availability (afternoon, evening, and weekend options).
• In-home sessions (within your service area).

Base Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
