Role Description

This is a virtual role for a Social Worker located in NY. The Social Worker will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing individual therapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, connecting clients with community resources, and advocating for client needs to support their overall well-being.

Dr. Nicolosi will provide weekly clinical supervision and support toward earning Clinical hours within the standards and guidelines in NYS. The candidate must have their own liability insurance.

The Position is flexible where you can create hours that will work for you.

This position is as a W2 employee and clinician will be credentialed with insurance companies under Prana Wellness NY.

Part-time (10 hours minimum per week)

Full Time (20 hours per week)

Qualifications

I am looking for a dedicated and professional therapist seeking licensure in NY, as well as seeking supervision hours toward their 'C' (LCSW).

Candidate will:

-Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, behavioral issues, and social needs.

-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals.

-Offer evidence-based therapy to a range of mental health conditions including but not limited to mood disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, relationship difficulties, stress management, and life transitions

-Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case management activities

Skills:

Strong expertise in behavioral health strategies.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.

Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Skilled in motivational interviewing and previous experience applying evidence-based treatments

Candidates should have:

-Prior experience or coursework in social work, behavioral health, clinical social work, or related fields is required

-Expertise in therapy, counseling, and creating individualized treatment plans

-Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and emotional intelligence

-Ability to maintain accurate and timely client documentation

-Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field

-Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, and a foundation of experience with direct clinical care are highly valued

-Experience working with diverse populations

-Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a strong asset
