Position: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Summary The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for managing a team of BT/RBTs to implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload. The BCBA works closely with the Operations and Clinical Teams to ensure the quality of care, authorization, supervision, and implementation of treatment plans are provided to treat patients effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Accurately implement structured and individualized intervention programs (behavior reduction and skill acquisition) developed by the Program Director for ABA
Job Type: Part-time 10-12 hours per week
• Conducts patient intake assessments inclusive of FBA and other supporting documentation. Open new cases for insurance approval.
• Develop the initial treatment plan and make regular program modifications
• Writes treatment protocols and behavior support plans
• Oversees a team of RBTs, including regular supervision, treatment, and training with clients.
• Maintains BCBA certification by renewing certification as mandated by BACB/state regulatory body (LABA)
• Maintains applied skills to be able to model for supervisees, as necessary
• Maintains a reliable record of attendance and punctuality
• Adheres to Cultivate policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Two (2) years of experience in working with children with Developmental Disorders, including Autism preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience within ABA
• Masters degree in a related field and currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Massachusetts (LABA)
• At least two (2) years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
• BCBA certification and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Familiarity with working with clients ages 5-12 or younger is preferred.
• Passionate about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the field of ABA
