Job Description

Responsibilities
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Collect, analyze, and document data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
• Assist with patient care activities, including behavioral health support and patient assessment, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of therapy goals
• Support special education initiatives by integrating behavioral strategies into educational settings when applicable

Skills
• Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Experience working with children and individuals with autism or other disabilities in clinical or educational settings
• Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and understanding of medical records management
• Ability to conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments effectively
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and confidentiality standards in healthcare environments
• Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and team members
