Currently seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in school settings, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference across elementary, middle, and high school environments, supporting both general behavioral needs and more intensive life skills instruction for students requiring additional support.
Essential Qualifications:
• Active RBT certification required
• Prior experience working in school settings is highly valued, but demonstrated behavior/RBT expertise is most critical
• CPI or experience with aggressive behaviors/caseloads especially sought for life skills/cross-campus assignments
• Comfortable collaborating with school staff and contributing as a positive team member
• Confidence working 1:1 with students and supporting classroom-wide interventions
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide behavioral support, interventions, and data tracking in a dedicated elementary behavior classroom
• Work cross-campus alongside life skills teams, assisting students with more significant challenges and promoting positive outcomes
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of onsite specialists or BCBAs
• Model best practices, reinforce positive behaviors, and help foster a safe, inclusive environment for all students
• Communicate observations and progress with school-based partners to optimize outcomes
This contract role begins as soon as possible and will continue through the remainder of the academic year, with strong potential for renewal—including opportunities for Summer assignments. Typical work hours are 7:15am-3:30pm each weekday, though some flexibility may be required to meet school needs.
