The Knapp Center for Childhood Development is a Multi-Specialty Behavior Health Clinic, who is a leader in our Industry, dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities through individualzed 1:1 care.
Summary
We are seeking Behavioral Health Workers to join our team at the Knapp Center for Childhood Development in Youngstown, OH. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to improve the lives of children with autism through individualized treatment programs.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct support and care to children with autism spectrum disorder.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles (training will be provided).
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and behavior changes.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by measuring outcomes of programs.
• Qualifications
• High School degree (required)
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred). NEW COLLEGE GRADUATES WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
