Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with daily living skills, and contribute to meaningful progress in clients’ lives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. We are willing to train once you compelte the 40 hour RBT training.

Behavior Technician/ (RBT) Responsibilities:
• Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients’ behaviors
• Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectively
• Review behavior plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by behavior analysts for clients in order to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately.
• The implementation of behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
• Data collection and display as authorized by a recipient’s behavior analysis service plan
• Communicate openly with behavior analysts
• Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS for Registered Behavior Techs:
• Minimum of a high school diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Registered as an active RBT with the BACB preferred-- but willing to train

• Credentialed with Medicad is a plus!
• Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders preferred
• CPR certification a plus
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Willing to learn and implement new skills
• Must be fluent in EnglishBENEFITS:
