Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication challenges in pediatrics.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual needs, utilizing evidence-based speech therapy techniques.
• Provide therapy sessions focused on improving speech production, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers to support patient progress and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and early intervention strategies to enhance therapy effectiveness.
• Participate in patient assessments that include understanding underlying physiology and anatomy to inform targeted interventions.
Experience
• Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in pediatrics or early intervention programs is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques across diverse populations.
• Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and swallowing functions.
• Experience conducting patient assessments using appropriate medical terminology and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to communication disorders enhances treatment precision.
