Job Description

ate Therapist to join our team at St. Mark’s Family Medicine. This role involves providing outpatient mental health counseling to a broad range of clients, primarily within the Medicaid and Medicare population. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving underserved communities, values integrated care, and works well within a team-based medical setting.

Responsibilities
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients referred through St. Mark’s Family Medicine.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress notes in compliance with ethical and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation consistent with insurance and Medicaid requirements.
• Participate in clinical consultation and supervision as required for licensure.
• Support the clinic’s mission by fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Active Utah associate license (ACMHC, CSW, AMFT, or equivalent) and in good standing.
• Strong commitment to working with Medicaid and diverse client populations.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience providing therapy in a medical, community mental health, or primary care setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for common mental health concerns (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).

Compensation & Benefits
