What we are looking for?

ABA Therapy Solutions is searching for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our growing team as a Registered Behavior Technician. Successful candidates will have a passion for positively impacting the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with a specific focus on Verbal Behavior Therapy. Technicians will provide their services at our Boardman, Ohio Location

What are the qualifications?

Minimum Qualifications
• A passion for working with children, specifically children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), working towards RBT certification through BACB, or the ability to achieve certification within 60 days of hire date
• The ability to physically perform the required duties of the position including, but not limited to, frequently lifting up to 25 lbs
• Ability to model all skill acquisition programs and components of a Behavior Intervention Plan to parents and/or school personnel
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience utilizing ABA methodologies and data collection
• Experience providing services to children with intellectual disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders
• TSS experience

What are the specific job responsibilities?
• Directed by the BCBA/BCaBA, implements behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting
• Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes
• Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans as outlined by BIP
• Conduct stimulus preference assessments
• Maintain client's program book
• Develop/create teaching materials
• Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
• Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures
• Attend all staff meetings as scheduled
• Work in a fun clinic setting
• Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
