The hourly rate for this position is competitive at $50 to $55 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patients
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies
• Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Requirements
• State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Effective implementation of treatment plans under supervision
• Desire for continuous learning and skill enhancement in the speech-language pathology field
