Our Behavior Technicians go through an extensive initial training program (making $18.50 - $19.50/hour) and earn $20.50 - $21.50/hour once training is complete.

• Experience with kids of all abilities
• Ability to work independently, receive constructive feedback, and adapt to changing environments

• 18+ years old - Required
• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured, and registered vehicle - Required
• CPR certification or ability to obtain one - Required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform quick body movements
AVERAGE DAY
As a Behavior Technician, you'll lead 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to teach children with autism (ages 1 to 12) life skills. You'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), following personalized therapy paths to help each client achieve their goals. Here's a closer look:
• Implement ABA therapy and Precision Teaching practices to help clients gain new skills and reduce behaviors
• Accurately record all session data and make detailed notes about the client's progress
• Communicate with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain learning materials and keep the therapy environment clean and organized
• Engage in crisis intervention and prevention as needed
• Follow industry policies, laws, and code of ethics
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and appearance
