Job Description
ge, communication, social, play, cognitive, and daily living skills while also focusing on decreasing problem behaviors and barriers to learning. Therapy incorporates learning through play in the natural environment as well as more structured sessions. Frequent opportunities for social interaction with peers occur throughout the entire day. There will also be opportunities to collaborate and meet with our Program Coordinators and BCBAs each week to discuss the progress of your clients.
The Growing Place is looking for individuals who possess the qualities of patience, a love for children, a caring nature, and a desire to learn new skills to provide ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are looking for individuals who can learn quickly, have the ability to multitask, and have a passion for helping children. You do not have to be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), but experience with children or in a related field is required. A minimum of a bachelor's degree OR pursuing a degree in ABA or related field OR an RBT certification, and the completion of a background check are also required. The Growing Place will provide training for you to become an RBT.
