Job Description
Starting Salary: $90,000 - $105,000/year based on experience PLUS $2,000 Annual Education Stipend!
Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is a dynamic organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students with special education needs. We are looking for a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our award-winning Special Education team. In this pivotal role, you will transform the educational experiences of K-12 students across multiple Spectrum locations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering training and guidance to educational staff in creating effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Monitoring the quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services to ensure exceptional student outcomes.
• Collaborating with teams to collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies to promote positive academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Assisting in crisis management and developing strategies to minimize the need for intense intervention.
• Conducting quality checks across campuses and recommending improvements based on data analysis.
• Offering supervision and mentorship to colleagues pursuing certification in behavior analysis.
• Maintaining accurate records of assessments and compliance activities.
• Engaging in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop comprehensive support strategies.
• Providing operational support focused on academic achievement and staff development.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education, or a related field.
• Currently licensed or in the process of obtaining BCBA certification.
• Preferred: Education specialist or special education instruction credential.
• Strong knowledge of ABA, positive behavior interventions, and special education compliance.
• Skilled in crisis management and working with diverse student populations.
• Proven success in developing effective intervention plans that support students' unique needs.
• Advanced communication and problem-solving skills.
