Schedule: M-F 10:30 am to 6:30 pm

Arc Broward is looking for a full time/year-round Team Leader for our Out-of-School Time (after-school and summer) Program.

As a Team Leader in our Alternative Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) Program, you will lead a dedicated and talented team of people supporting children and youth with Autism and other disabilities to engage in meaningful, fun activities in a year-round after-school/summer program.You will utilize your leadership and coaching expertise to promote professional growth in your team members. You will provide positive and supportive leadership that promotes and reinforces a culture that values, supports, and appreciates team members and aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of person-centered services and supports for children, ages 3 -22, who have Autism and other Developmental Disabilities and challenging behaviors.

Essential Job Functions/Duties
• Effectively supports team members to enhance their professional growth and development, performance, teamwork, morale, and service provision.
• Consistently coordinates personnel management by making recommendations for hiring, providing consistent support and recognition, providing initial and ongoing training, conducting coaching sessions and performance reviews, facilitating teamwork, and engaging in and encouraging effective communication.
• Plans and oversees the Individualized Behavior Analysis Services to include functional assessment, establishment of goals and objectives, development of Individual Behavior Plans, oversight of plan implementation, and data management and analysis. Teaches, participates in, and oversees prescribed crisis prevention and intervention strategies (PCM)
• Oversees the implementation of all program components, including Behavior Analysis, Social Skills Training, Fitness and Nutrition, Cultural Arts, Academics, Enrichment Activities, Family Engagement, and Drowning Prevention Instruction,
• Responsibly ensures that children supported are safe and living healthy lives by monitoring safety issues; practicing appropriate emergency medical and behavioral procedures; responding to emergencies; promoting children’s rights regarding health and safety; and participating in emergency disaster preparedness.

What are the requirements?
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a relevant field (Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, etc.).
• You have a minimum of 2 years of related experience leading programs for children with Autism/Behavioral Challenges
• You have a minimum of 2 years implementing Applied Behavior Analysis Plans with children who have challenging behaviors; training and experience developing ABA plans preferred
• You’re a positive and supportive person.
• You have great leadership skills!
