Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others through behavioral therapy interventions.
Schedule
• Part-time: 12-15 hours per week
• Shifts are between 2-7:30pm
• Typical shift length: 3-4 hours
• Afternoon availability is required
Responsibilities
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on observable client behavior
• Assist in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment goals
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavioral strategies
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
• Driving is an essential part of this job, Driver License is required
