Job Summary
The STEM Institute is currently seeking a Temporary STEM Education Research Assistant to join their team of professionals. They will support ongoing projects in STEM education, service-learning, outreach, and community engagement.
Duties Include:
• Collecting and analyzing data.
• Creating research posters.
• Contributing to conference papers and manuscripts.
• Supporting projects focused on service learning, outreach, and volunteerism.
• Examining student learning, professional development, and community outcomes in engineering.
• Assisting with dissemination to communities of interest.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of PC operations and specialized software.
• Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
