Qualifications

• •Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and behavioral therapy techniques
• •Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to maintain accurate medical records
• •Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality
• •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members
• •Ability to educate clients and families on behavioral strategies effectively
• •A compassionate approach towards working with individuals facing challenges related to their behavior
• •Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring

• •The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• •This role is vital in providing support and education to clients and their families, helping them achieve their goals through effective behavioral therapy techniques
• •Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
• •Provide direct support to children with developmental disabilities in various settings, including home, school, and community environments
• •Collect and document data on client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently
• •Educate clients and families on behavioral strategies to promote skill development and independence
• •Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information
• •Assist in the development of care plans and contribute to medical documentation as needed
• •Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client’s care to ensure a holistic approach to treatment
