Qualifications

  • Active Illinois nursing license
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Nursing skills (IV starts, computer skills, dressings, assessment skills)

Responsibilities

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (or standard 8-hour day shift)
  • Evening (PM) Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (8 hours)
  • 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • 6:45 AM - 11:15 PM
  • Night and weekend availability required
  • Must complete ~6 weeks of training across all 3 shifts (Day, PM, Night)
  • Participate in execution of protocol activities for Phase I clinical research studies
  • Maintain safety and confidentiality of study subjects
  • Evaluate adverse events and manage safety reporting in a timely manner
  • Review protocols and informed consent forms; identify and communicate potential issues
  • Perform study-related nursing activities in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines (CFR, ICH, GCP)
  • Communicate with Principal Investigator, study physicians, and cross-functional teams to coordinate study activities
  • Participate in quality and compliance improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and complete source data in eSource and/or other documents; resolve discrepancies
  • Facilitate training of new nursing personnel and report trainee progress
  • Participate in recruitment and screening activities to support subject enrollment
