Job Description
1. As a Behavioral Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals and families through meaningful, person-centered behavioral services—all while enjoying the flexibility to design a schedule that works for you.
What You’ll Do
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to support client success
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to individuals, families, caregivers, and staff
• Consult with schools, agencies, and funding sources to ensure effective service delivery
• Support crisis intervention and behavior management within home and community settings
• Complete required documentation and monthly service reports
What We’re Looking For
• Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD/PhD) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring diagnoses
• Strong background in behavioral assessment, intervention, and crisis support
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Position Details
• Flexible, self-directed schedule (Monday–Friday)
• Travel within San Diego County (up to 1 hour) for in-home consultations
• Participation in at least one monthly clinical meeting
• Independent contractor position (no benefits; mileage not reimbursed)
