Job Description

You will provide direct behavioral support in settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, home care environments, and community settings, helping individuals build independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Key Responsibilities
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under BCBA supervision
• Provide behavioral support for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer’s-related behaviors
• Collect, track, and document behavioral data accurately to support treatment planning
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including grooming, hygiene, and feeding to promote independence
• Use positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
• Collaborate with BCBAs and interdisciplinary teams to review and update individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Support a safe and structured environment by identifying risks and following established safety protocols
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff or caregivers when needed

Qualifications
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB (required)
• Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education strategies
• Strong data collection, documentation, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate, patient-centered mindset with a commitment to improving client outcomes
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, behavioral health practices, and medical terminology is a plus
