About the ELWYN Classroom
This classroom program is designed to meet the needs of young children with disabilities, with a strong focus on individualized instruction, social-emotional development, and skill acquisition through adapted activities and materials. As the ABA-PCA, you will work closely with a Special Instructor to deliver structured support to groups of up to 11 children. The classroom follows the ELWYN academic calendar and emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized and group instruction aligned with each child’s IEP goals
• Collaborate with the Special Instructor to implement classroom routines, behavioral supports, and adapted learning activities
• Support social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development in a structured learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, attendance, and progress
• Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary team members including SLPs, OTs, PTs, BSCs, and PCAs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and service coordinators.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required
• Completed 40 Hour ABA-BHT training (we can provide training) $300 sign on bonus if you already have it
• PA criminal clearances (current and valid)
• Experience working with children, preferably in special education or early intervention settings
Working Conditions:
• Services provided in a classroom setting following the ELWYN Calendar
• Daily collaboration with other professionals including SLP, OT, PT, BSC, and PCA staff
• Two structured sessions per day (9 AM–12 PM and 12 PM–3 PM)
