Job Description
No Experience? No Problem! We Pay You to Get Certified.
Are you energetic, patient, and ready to make a real difference in a child’s life? We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping children with developmental disabilities find their voice and reach their potential.
We don't expect you to be an expert on Day 1. We are looking for people with the right heart. We will provide the skills.
What You Will Do:
• Work 1-on-1: You will work directly with children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Teach through Play: You’ll help clients learn new skills—like communication, social interaction, and daily living skills—often through play-based activities.
• Receive Mentorship: You won't be alone. You will receive regular supervision and support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The "Zero Experience" Promise: If you haven't worked in this field before, we have you covered. We provide:
• Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Complete support in preparing for the RBT certification exam.
• Ongoing career development and skills training.
Minimum Requirements:
• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (travel between clients is required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (playing with kids is active work!).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Strong Communication Skills: You will be interacting with families and writing daily session notes. You must be comfortable speaking professionally with parents and staff, as well as writing clear, grammatically correct sentences and short paragraphs to document client progress.
Nice-to-Haves (But not deal breakers!):
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience with children, babysitting, camp counseling, or caregiving.
Why Join Us?
• Competitive Pay: $22.00 - $27.00/hour.
• Growth: Part-time positions with the opportunity to move to Full-time based on performance.
• Impact: Go home every day knowing you helped a child learn a new skill.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Benefits:
• 401(k)
• 401(k) matching
• Dental insurance
• Flexible schedule
• Health insurance
• Professional development assistance
• Vision insurance
