Job Description

• LOOKING FOR A CONFIDENT AND EXPERIENCED BEHAVIOR TECH.

Duties:
- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with autism
- Teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records
- Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in community settings, such as schools or homes

Requirements:
• Part-time flexible availability 20-29 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays 9am-1pm at managements discretion
• Excellent client care, customer service, computer, organization, time management, writing, and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet assigned goals.
• Some childcare experience.
• Stable work history.
• A passion for working with children with special needs and autism.
• Reliability is essential (make it to work on time with minimal absences).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of employment eligibility/work authorization.
• High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or some college preferred.
• Must have or be willing to complete the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential requirements within the time frame set forth by BACB and Thrive Health Care Services.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to achieve certification.
• Ability to provide negative TB test results.
• Ability to lift, squat, bend, push/pull 50 pounds as needed for therapy services.
• Desire for continued learning opportunities.
• Ongoing demonstration of Thrive Core Values.

Advantageous Qualifications
• Previous experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, working as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for an autism services provider
• An existing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• An existing First Aid and CPR certification.
• Completion of college coursework or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or other related field.
• Ability to speak multiple languages.
