Job Overview
We are seeking a english speaker and experienced Female Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work MONDAY TO SATURDAYS to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a passionate individual who is fluent in English and has extensive experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities such as autism. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral therapy strategies, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and development. The position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with private insurance coverage provided. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of the individuals you serve, helping them reach their full potential through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.
Duties
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility to promote independence
• Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Use behavioral management techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in a safe manner
• Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and educators to develop and update care plans tailored to each client’s needs
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information
• Document all session details accurately in medical documentation systems using appropriate medical terminology
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an RBT or similar role working with children with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with special education practices and teaching methodologies for children with special needs
• Ability to work effectively with individuals requiring patient care and emotional support
• Excellent data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and treatment outcomes
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and medical terminology related to behavioral health services
• Must be fluent in English, demonstrating clear communication skills both verbally and in writing
