Job Description

 you will work closely with a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized care plans and foster positive behavioral changes in a compassionate, energetic environment. Your dedication will help empower clients to reach their full potential through evidence-based practices and personalized support.

Responsibilities
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and fostering independence and confidence.
• Support teaching sessions by reinforcing learning objectives across communication, social skills, and functional life skills in engaging ways.
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including behavior logs, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency of care and share insights on client progress.
• Uphold patient care standards by adhering to safety protocols, respecting client confidentiality, and maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications
• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding medical terminology related to behavioral health.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent teaching abilities and patience when working with diverse clients.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining flexibility to adapt to individual needs.
