Job Description
e seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this fee-for-service position, you will provide individual and family counseling services to clients who are seeking support for a variety of mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping clients improve their mental and emotional well-being, while working within a flexible and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions to clients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, as needed, to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information at all times.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision as required.
Skills
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Registered Intern standing preferred, but will also help recent graduates with this process.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing psychotherapy.
• Experience with a different client populations and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Good clinical documentation skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Compensation:
• This is a fee-for-service position, with compensation based on the number of sessions provided.
