• Works closely with faculty physicians, community physicians, industry partners, and other educators to develop courses.
• Prepares course specific reports, procedures and protocols to ensure financial viability and corporate compliance.
• Identifies appropriate internal and external support required for course coordination, budget and compliance documentation.
• Establishes budgets and subsequently submits appropriate grants with private industry and organizations for educational courses.
• Acts as liaison for CME certification with AHEC.
• Assists with the development and adherence to annual capital and operating budgets. Develops and maintains participant/courses database.
• Coordinates all aspects of course production in collaboration with related internal departments and external vendors.
Physical Requirements
Works in office with exposure to clinical environment as well as the Vivarium. Sight, hearing, and speech capabilities sufficient to facilitate communication with diverse individuals and groups. Mobility sufficient to move around campus and drive to other participating sites.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Four year degree preferred. Minimum of three years work experience in a healthcare related field. Clinical study experience preferred. Knowledge of applicable software programs; license, certification, or registry as appropriate to profession and study.
