Job Description

• Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health and special education.
Requirements
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices, patient care, and special education strategies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person

Responsibilities
- •Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- •Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills
- •Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions
- •Provide support in teaching social skills, communication, and academic skills tailored to each client's needs
- •Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- •Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records, in compliance with HIPAA regulations
