Role Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist for a full-time, on-site role in our Commerce, MI location. The Pediatric Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children. Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams, and documenting therapy sessions in compliance with applicable policies. The role also involves monitoring patient progress, conducting re-evaluations, and adapting therapy approaches to maximize outcomes while providing a supportive and engaging environment for both the child and the family.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Speech Therapy assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Strong skills in patient observation, progress documentation, and re-evaluation procedures
• Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills catered to both children and adults
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
