PART-TIME Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) - Center-Based. Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm

Success On The Spectrum (“SOS”) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are growing & looking for Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to join our team!

The schedule for the Part-Time position is Monday through Friday, from 10:00AM-2:00PM. This full weekday commitment is required (Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs/Fri).

Job Description:
• Flexibility to take on additional tasks/responsibilities as needed
• Work in the center, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm
• Client material creation and preparation
• Directly implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
• Incorporate sensory activities into sessions (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
• Record client data into CentralReach software
• Convert appointments and write detailed SOAP notes
• Attend regular team meetings and performance goal meetings with BCBA
• Attend quarterly “In-Service” trainings and team bonding activities
• Potty-training clients when applicable and changing diapers/pull-ups
• Some minor general cleaning/sanitizing duties

Compensation:
• Hourly, $19-$22/hour, depending on experience/RBT certification

About the Company:

SOS-Norwalk offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children typically aged 3-10 in our nautically-themed center. Playful, high-energy Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians seeking Part-Time employment (Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm) are encouraged to apply. We also have Full-Time positions available (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm).

Within the center, teams typically rotate clients approximately every 90-120 minutes. Staff members receive monthly competency reviews, a formal Performance Review every six (6) months, and Behavior Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted to an RBT Level 1, RBT Level 2, RBT Level 3, Trainer, or Intern - each position has an associated compensation increase. There is significant opportunity for you to move up in the field!

SOS-Norwalk provides hands-on training to our Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians. We will increase your ABA knowledge through weekly Supervision, regular team training, and quarterly “In-Service” training days. SOS will also pay for you to maintain your First Aid/CPR/BLS/AED certification as well as your QBS Safety-Care Certification, RBT certification course (if needed), and will reimburse your RBT certification exam upon a passing grade.

If you want to advance your career and advance in the field of ABA, SOS can also help you become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No criminal background
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
