### A few things we look for
We hire candidates who are at least 18 years old on their first day of employment, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and reliable transportation is expected.
### What the day-to-day looks like
You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy that helps children learn, grow, and gain independence. That includes tracking progress, following personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with a supportive team aligned with AST's values. You’ll help build a strong foundation for careers in behavior analysis and related fields and create positive, lasting change for children and families.
Physical requirements vary by client assignment. You are expected to be able to complete all physical requirements either with or without reasonable accommodation; this role may require you to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds and to move quickly in response to client needs. Frequent changes of physical position are required throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running. The role also requires maintaining continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to support a safe environment.
