Job Description
We are hiring evening (6pm-6am) Behavioral Health Technicians also known as Care Coordinators (CC) to manage and maintain the safety of the patients and staff in a residential setting. Care Coordinator's are a part of a multidisciplinary team that participates in the planning and organizing of individual and group activities that promote a range of self-help skills for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Job Responsibilities
• Demonstrates positive role modeling for the clients through mentoring and coaching while utilizing recovery skills
• Ensuring safety and security of clients under direct supervision
• Conducts and documents individual's vitals and reports all questionable results to medical staff.
• Conducts and documents all BAC and urine drug screens
• Documents all services and significant individual interactions in the electronic health record
• Monitors and documents patients every 15 mins
• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility, performs light cleaning of interior center, restocking and launders individuals clothing when needed
• Facilitates group sessions daily to individuals
• Assist clients in self-administered medication
• Intervenes with escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques for de-escalation when needed to ensure the individual’s safety and the safety of others
Must be at least 21 years of age.
