AIT is Austria’s largest applied non-university research institute. AIT’s Molecular Diagnostics unit https://molecular-diagnostics.ait.ac.at/ focuses on non- and minimally invasive diagnostics providing contract research services covering transcriptomics, epigenetics & immunomics. Our multi-omics expertise covers biomarker discovery, assay design and confirmation, validation and bioinformatics. We offer services for customized analysis and multiplexed testing using minimal amounts of clinical specimen using established workflows. In addition we are working on human in vitro barrier models (e.g. blood brain barrier), new biosensors and point of care solutions, and offer these tools and expertise as well as assay integration for existing diagnostic platforms as contract R&D.
