The state’s share shows a measurable concentration of registry activity, though NPI records do not establish hiring, active caseloads or appointment availability. The update lists 190 providers added this week; 289 are individuals and 57 are organizations.

ABA workforce mix

The credential summary lists 17 BCBAs and 86 RBTs, with no dual BCBA-RBT credential holders reported. RBTs substantially outnumber BCBAs, pointing to a workforce mix weighted toward direct service rather than supervision. Because BCBAs supervise RBTs, the smaller BCBA pool may constrain how quickly technician capacity can translate into supervised ABA services. These credential counts should not be read as mutually exclusive shares: providers can have multiple credentials or taxonomies, and the registry reports 73 providers with multiple taxonomies.

Demographics and organizations

Women account for 230 providers, or 80%; men account for 41, or 14%; and nonbinary providers account for 18, or 6%. These figures describe the listed provider population, not ABA staff alone. Four organizations appear twice in the notable-organizations field: Cornerstone Christian Counseling, Spring EOP, Hardbeauty Foundation and Rocky Mountain Clinical Counseling. Colorado Springs, Denver, Aurora, Lakewood and Littleton are the leading listed cities.

The update suggests a broad behavioral health provider presence but a comparatively smaller BCBA pool; expanding ABA access will depend on sufficient supervisory capacity alongside RBT participation.
