Interventions

  • Creatine Monohydrate — DIETARY_SUPPLEMENT
    Creatine monohydrate supplementation 0.5 grams every 20 minutes
  • Carbohydrate — DIETARY_SUPPLEMENT
    carbohydrate supplementation 5 grams every 20 minutes
  • Creatine Monohydrate and Carbohydrate — DIETARY_SUPPLEMENT
    Creatine supplementation of 0.5 grams and carbohydrate supplementation of 5 grams every 20 minutes.
  • placebo solution — DIETARY_SUPPLEMENT
    Flavored water every 20 minutes

Study Details

This study will examine the independent and combined effects of creatine and carbohydrate supplementation on exercise performance, compared to placebo.

    Creatine Monohydrate supplementation every 0.5 grams every 20 minutes

    Carbohydrate supplementation 5 grams every 20 minutes
  • Experimental: Creatine and Carbohydrate
    Creatine supplementation at 0.5 gram and carbohydrate supplementation of 5 grams every 20 minutes

Primary Outcome Measure

Exercise Time to exhaustion [ Time Frame: Change in exercise time to exhaustion ( in seconds) through study completion, over the course of study completion, on average 4 weeks. ]
