New York, NY Clinical Trials Report — July 2026

New Yorkers interested in clinical research should act quickly: 172 recruiting trials in the city are expected to close within the next 90 days, including 46 that accept healthy volunteers. The most affected areas include breast and prostate cancer, each with 7 closing studies, followed by endometrial and ovarian cancer, sleep, lung cancer, body composition, obesity, and colorectal cancer.

At the same time, New York opened 55 new trials in July, down from 70 in June and 70 in May. The city now has 3,168 recruiting trials spread across 1,305 research facilities, making it one of the most concentrated clinical research markets in New York State.
